Today I’m Grateful For:

Second chances. And third chances. God gives us another chance every second of every day to change or try again. To change ourselves, our attitudes, our mood, our beliefs, to offer help, to ask for help, to say “I love you”, to offer forgiveness. Just to name a few.

The Law of Opposites

Once you declare something or express a desire, the Universe will throw the opposite at you. This is a gift; the Universe will create a context for which you to express your desires and declarations. You can’t express light if it’s never dark!

Life’s Mission

Be the person God created me to be.

Be more so I can do more.

Do more so I can give more.

God gives you skills, talents, and passions for a reason. That internal drive to use our talents and skills is our way to add value to the world.

Be – Do – Have

The best way to experience or ‘be’ something you don’t sincerely feel yet is to cause another to experience it because of you. For example, if you want to feel joy, cause someone else to feel joy because of you and your actions

*Some Excerpts*

Worship or worry- you can’t do both

– Seen on a sign in front of a church in Portland, OR

Proactive people show you what they love, what they want and what they stand for. (Different from people who are known by what they hate, what they don’t like).

-Boundaries

God is more concerned with our hearts than with our outward compliance … (an internal ‘no’ nullifies and external ‘yes’)

-Boundaries

Power is not something you demand or deserve; it is something you express. The ultimate expression of power is love – it is the ability not to express power but to restrain it.
